Kaiser Permanente Eye Care - Olympia Medical Center

I have been KP member for about 4 years now. The care is ok and not much different than other average care places. The staff has been really nice.and attentive every time I go to them. The Pharmacy is good and pleasant to deal with .....but.... Let's talk about their very controversial, arrogant and dismissive Customer support and the ridiculous amount of red tape they call KP protocols. My prescription had changed enough that I called my optometrist to better understand the prescription she gave me. I was told by customer service that it was the optician who explains the prescription.I had already been to the Kaiser Optical Shop three times and while one man was wonderful and patient, I’ve now seen one woman in the optical shop twice and she was gruff, overbearing and unhelpful.Today she insisted my new glasses just needed getting used to (they turned out to be off) and at first refused to give me the reading distance prescription for readers, instead pushing for me to purchase prescription readers from Kaiser.Now I have to wait another 2-3 weeks for... read full review

I love the care I get. But here is why low rating. Just to see a Dr I have to wait 2 months. I'm sick now so how does that help me. Im thinking of leaving because of this. I cant plan my illness in advance.
