Diva Lounge and Meagan are so wonderful! The salon itself is so cute inside and out and always clean and welcoming. Every person I’ve met is very friendly and it’s clear that they’re all quite skilled.
Meagan is a total gem and honestly the best kind of stylist–true artistic vision, honest about what’s possible/best for your hair type, a cutting wizard, and an amazing person to boot. my stylist was very friendly, but there were some issues- she did a root touchup that didn’t match the rest of the color, (I went into another stylist a week later and she told me that I needed my roots touched up and I told her I had just done it?) that stylist also informed me that my haircut was uneven (didn’t notice because I always wear my hair up).
Despite not indicating these issues, I felt comfortable with her as a person and enjoyed how nice and receptive she was so called to make a new appointment. Megan was great! Was very nervous about getting my hair colored after doing henna for years, saw another person for a consultation, and they seemed very uneasy about the project, considering metallic salts can interact with the chemicals in dye. But Megan explained to me her experience and seemed knowledgeable about the subject. After our strand test was cleared, we went along with the color, and it was basically just what I wanted! She blow dried it at the end, which made me nervous, because it always tends to get extremely frizzy, but I left with silky smooth strandz that looks wonderful.
