After a 6 week board and train with Matt, Flynn is a gentleman who is now able to play with other dogs and is able to express his boundaries in a more appropriate way. When I visited Flynn two weeks into the board and train it was clear to me that I had absolutely no reason to worry. Flynn was so comfortable with Matt and was having the time of his life on “vacation”. The entire experience was amazing, Matt kept me in the loop like I was right there with Flynn. At the go home lesson we didn’t miss a beat, Matt explained everything in a way that I could understand and is willing to continue working with Flynn and I on going. Matt has a way with the dogs, he treats them with respect and kindness and it shines through the relationship he creates with the dogs! “Cole was kind enough to let us take in a 5 year old female of his named Maya in addition to the pup we bought (we named him Loki). She was an incredible dog and we loved her dearly. She lived to be 12, and I called Cole on the day she passed to let him know. He was kind, empathetic, and didn’t mind my tears despite me being a grown man. If you just want a dog, look elsewhere; but if you want a family member, come to Cole. Maya was, as Cole said, a “once in a lifetime dog” and I don’t know if we deserved her—but we loved her as if we did deserve her. Loki is now 7 years old, and is also an incredible dog—the best male I have ever owned. I, my wife, and my sons miss Maya terribly. No other dog can replace her. If you are committed to your family and see a dog as a family, come to Cole and he will treat you as family and set you up with the most irreplaceable dog you have ever met. I moved away to Central Texas, and I would drive 2000 miles back to Cole if I was to get another pup.“
