It has been a few years since we've had our akbash, Kodi, stay with Dave and Debbie (we have a family member that does not travel anymore, and she stays with our dogs when we leave) however we always recommend Cozy Kennels to friends. Kodi routinely came home very happy, and not showing signs of stress. The first time he stayed, Dave sent us a few videos of Kodi playing with other dogs. It was so sweet being able to SEE him, and know for sure he was doing well. The most recent time, Dave sent Kodi home with a squeaky llama he had fallen in love with ? Every single time my dogs come home from their visit, they are happy and exhausted from playing! One of my dogs is a nervous girl, and I used to board her somewhere else. She'd come home depressed and with diarrhea for days. Not once, ever, has she had a problem with Cozy Kennels! She comes home just as happy and tired as our young dog! We are customers for life!
Lewis O. Potamus is a 1 year old American Bully (American Baby…more like it). He is adored by our family, goes to work with my husband and I and is very…very spoiled. When I first asked Debbie about booking Lewis she politely declined and told me the safety of the dogs in their care was their number 1 priority and they don’t take pit breeds. I wasn’t offended at all, and appreciated a facility that would carefully vet breeds and dogs. I explained to her Lewis’ disposition, showed her some videos of Lewis playing with my sister’s doodle and my in laws boxers (all our dogs are with us always and we take them to eachothers homes- all are very well socialized...read full review
