We needed to redo our yard and install a sprinkler system. We received a few quotes for the work. We chose Tom because of his vision for our yard, his professionalism, and punctuality. Also, we saw a few other yards he did and we were impressed. We are so glad we went with Tom. He did an outstanding job. Our front yard was a full redo. It required the removal of everything that existed (including a few scraggly trees, bushes, and the lawn). The ground in our yard was heavy clay, so in the excavation process Tom's team removed a layer of clay before tilling in new soil to mix with the clay. Then finishing by adding many loads of soil on top. The outcome was a solid base for our landscaping to grow and thrive. The plants Tom used in our yard are wonderful. A true balance of color, texture, and size. He added rocks/boulders within the flow of the plants and trees to create "our park". The sod he chose was brought in from Oregon because it matched the conditions of our yard better. We love standing outside and looking at everything. We have received hundreds of compliments from people walking the sidewalk passed our house in the 6 weeks since Tom's team finished. Some people even stop and stare at all the pieces - taking in the complete picture it creates. And to top things off, truly the "wow" that we didn't anticipate it being, is the exterior lighting that Tom put in. The first time my wife and I saw it the evening that Tom's team finished the project we were blown away. We were SO pleased about the work Tom did. We felt like we were on the grounds at a resort. Everything Tom designed, down to the details like sprinkler head locations and the angle of the lights into the trees was absolutely thought through to be exceptional. We met Tom and knew that he was the person to do our project. Our plans were not totally detailed. We had ideas and a rough drawing. Tom has a uniqueness (I call it Feng Shui). After listening to us and looking at our plans, our front yard is now a dream and so enjoyable. The project only was 10 days. He was reliable and organized. It cost what he told me it would. Now a year later we had him install irrigation system which he advised last year and we chose not to do. He was so kind to come and install throughout the area we transitioned last year. I highly recommend Tom and his company for hard and soft landscaping and irrigation.
Tom landscaped our whole property. We wanted to freshen the look and reduce maintenance. We added irrigation so we could stop dragging hoses around. Tom did a great job for us.
