To be honest, the rating here is way lower than I expected it to be. Yellow Wood is a great option compared to what I’ve seen, especially for older kids, and not very chaotic (at least, compared to what I’ve been through, and for the record i got strangled in a kindergarten bathroom once).
I am currently a sophomore at Yellowwood and this is my second year and I have never loved school as much as I love Yellowwood! I struggled socially at a public school with bullying and being left out which made my mental health bad, but with Yellowwood I genuinely look forward to coming to school. The teachers make a big effort to form good relationships with their students. They always ask how you are and they want an honest answer. And if you are having a bad day or something is bothering you, you can talk to the teachers about it and they will listen and help you work through it. Great school! If your kid needs extra support or has trouble learning. My son now a freshman excels at this school. I see noticeable improvement in his learning, self confidence and self worth! Thank you all at YC!!!!
