Hooray for Amy at Island Spa! She does THE best spray tans of anywhere I've tried and believe me, living in grey Seattle I've tried several. People think I've been on vacation somewhere sunny! I love hearing"you're so tan, where have you been?" She really takes the time to make it look as natural as she can with contouring and shading. Be prepared though you first timers- the bronzer gets pretty intense until you shower ( best to wait overnight if you can.) so make an appointment with Amy and look and feel like you've been on holiday!

I had my first visit to The Island Salon & Spa and was pleased. Amy Bode at the reception desk was helpful and went to great lengths over the phone to assist me with scheduling an appointment with the massage therapist. When I arrived for my appointment, she made me feel welcomed and answered any questions I had. Judy Frountelter came out and introduced herself and brought me to the massage room. In the massage room the music, lighting, temperature & decor were all conducive to relaxation. I was so tense due to stress but, felt it all vanishing almost as soon as I arrived. Judy is a great massage therapist and I felt great when I left and still feel relaxed and wonderful (the next day). She gives a great massage but, even more than that, she senses how much you want or don't want to chat. She matches your mood. I don't know if she is even aware of that. I would highly recommend Judy Frountelter to anyone looking for a massage therapist. The friendly, professional environment makes me want to check out the other various Salon services. I'll definitely be back.
