I have to travel extensively for work and my dogs love going to Prairie Farm Kennel when I am gone. The new owners live on site and each dog is showered with attention on a daily basis. The facilities are clean. The dogs are treated as individuals and their various needs are acknowledged and met. I highly recommend this facility which is more "going to camp" than the typical kennel experience

This is not the standard kennel environment. It is owned and run by a family that definitely delights in their furry guests. I am traveling a lot for work and Tommy, Brody and Abbie have been hanging out at Prairie Farm for more than a month now. I drop off on Sunday and do not return to town until Friday night. Although my three "derelicts" are happy to see me, it is obvious they enjoy their stay with Mark, Suzy, Chazz and Romey (sorry if I misspelled your name, sweetie). I travel weekly and my three standard poodles are guests of this facility from Sunday to Friday. Although my guys are happy to see me and spend quality time at home, they are always delighted to head back to Mead for the week. The family that bought this kennel a couple of years ago live on the premises and spend a lot of time with the residents. There are fenced in areas with plenty of room to run, quality interaction between humans and canines, and a warm, caring, stimulating environment for all. I highly recommend Prairie Farm Kennels for either a short or long term stay for your treasured companion(s).
