This is the spot for getting your taxes done. I have referred a couple of friends and they to were very impressed with the quality of service that they received. One friend hadn't filed in over a year and Mike the taxman fixed them up. I have been going here for year.

I made some kind of mistake while filing my taxes using an online program. I went to Mike and asked him to help me sort it out. In less than an hour, he found a way to help me file correctly and avoid IRS penalties. What a relief to such a stressful problem! Thank you.

Mr. Tax Man (former Lynnwood Mayor Mike McKinnon) has a funky hole-in-the-wall office sandwiched in a Hwy 99 strip mall next to The Root Beer Store, filled with old typewriters and files, files, files. He's done our taxes now for several years after we bailed from H&R Block. His prices are reasonable and he always has answers to my questions about changes in the tax law. We tried using Turbo Tax for one year before we went to Mike. It almost led to divorce. Go do your taxes with Mike and hopefully shop the Root Beer Store if it survives COVID-19.
