Whatcom Landscapes recently completed a project for us that included hardscaping a retaining wall, patio, and walkway. I had been wanting to change my blonde shade for some time. I have tried so many stylists, showed pictures of the dirty blonde shade I wanted, and even brought a picture of the fresh new look I was going for. Time and time again, I leave the salon and feel disappointed that I wasn't listened to while sitting in the chair. Karen listed to what I wanted, and was able to get my color exactly the shade no one else could get to. My haircut was fantastic!!!! I can not fully express how wonderful Karen is, and I highly recommend her if you want a 5 star hairdresser!! Beautiful salon inside, friendly staff, great place!

Harrison's is definitely my new place! Harrison (don't know if it's his first name or last name, but it doesn't matter). I've been here twice and I'm immediately greeted not only by Harrison, but also his incredibly friendly two dogs. I've never expected to be seen by anyone who does hair immediately for my appointment time as I've spent 47 years of my life waiting in the waiting area for at least 10 minutes, but my appointed time has both times been met within moments of my walking in. Harrison knows his stuff and does it appropriately and professionally with ease! Both times I've been there, I've gotten exactly what I asked for, which is not my experience with other places I've been through my life. I've also received GREAT conversations with Harrison! I love how he says exactly what he thinks and doesn't censor himself, this is one amazing dude I could easily enjoy time sharing beer and a joint with while watching great comedy. The dude is awesome. You don't receive the neck trim, hot face towel or neck massage that is claimed with the men's haircut on the website so he really should update the website but that truly doesn't matter because the perfect cut, awesome conversation and entire enjoyable time spent is worth every penny! A part of me wants to say, EVERYONE needs to go to Harrison's to get their hair cut, but the other part of me doesn't want him to get so popular I can't get an appointment with him! I'll just say, this dude is awesome and I look forward to every visit with him, I know the cut and conversation are going to be perfect!
I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Hannah at City Hair for ten years! She always does an amazing job. The salon is welcoming, clean, and all of the stylists are very nice. You really feel taken care of when you come in for your appointment. The prices aren’t too expensive for the great work they do! I love their selection of salon hair products at the front as well. The staff is very knowledgable and helpful.
I recently took my car hauler trailer to this shop, and although they couldn't accommodate me right away, they went above and beyond to provide a temporary fix to get me back on the road. Despite their busy schedule, they made sure to schedule me in for the next day. The staff's professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction were truly commendable. Both of the providers Dr. Yesian and Dr. Veltkamp are nice, kind and respectful- they have always done everything they could to help out both of my sons.If it means accommodating to my schedule for the appointments (like coming in on Saturdays), having to reschedule stuff because my kiddos isn’t cooperating etc. you get the point - they are amazing. And they have helped me SO much in a year !!!
Happened to be at lynden nails, shopped at little red wagon after and asked the owner if anywhere in lynden takes walk ins for hair and she said to go try aamber at lbl next door. She called one of her stylists who came in even on her birthday to do my hair! So nice and I love my hair! Shani was super knowledgeable about how to deal with very thick hair. Highly recommend!
At last I found someone who said they could rejuvenate my 22year old front door and arrived exactly when they promised. Great care taken with preparation and protection of the hallway. Persistent problem solving over a tricky to fit new letterbox. Could not be more pleased. Very fairly priced too. I am very happy, thank you.

I went today for my first chiropractor appointment ever. The front desk lady was very nice and walked me through how a regular appointment would go and was very upfront about costs(the cost is very affordable)The doctor was also very kind and really listened to my back pain history and story. He explained everything to me as he was going. He told me what he was doing, why he was doing it, what common things make certain injury’s happen. They even gave me things to do at home to help me get my back better faster. I was very nervous walking in on what to expect and everyone help put me at ease and helped me relax. Thank you, I am looking forward to my next appointment.

This man is a wizard with repairs. My spark plug was sucked into the engine. This should have destroyed the engine and most places would have just called the car a loss. He was able to not only fix the car and put new titanium threads in, he kept the price under a grand. There is no other mechanic that I know of who can do what he does. Thank you so much!!!! He stands by his work and is very friendly.

I had been looking for a new colorist/stylist for awhile and after houuuurs of scrolling through what seemed like hundreds of profiles...Karinda's popped up. Her pictures were stellar and color was beautiful! I messaged her to just chat about my hair, her recommendations for our first appointment and she was quick to respond! I called Vans this morning after my furnace started coming on then shutting off after about 30 seconds, then restarting and doing it again and again. Brit took my phone call and quickly arranged for one of Vans service technicians to come to my house for a service visit. Eric was the technician who came out and within 30 minutes he identified the problem and had my furnace up and running with no issues. Eric knows his furnaces and is a top notch technician. I know who I'll be calling in the future if I need my furnace fixed again! Thank you Vans, Brit and Eric for the excellent service!!

The acupuncture was great I feel like you really get your money out of it. The message was good. However, I only got a 50 minute massage when I paid for an hour.
Eric did a great job for us. We are making a large addition to our home. He and his subs set our trusses, sheithed the roof and reroofed the entire house. We had just started when the covid stuff hit and the building dept shut everyone down and told us to "just tarp it". Eric knew the system well enough to get us a letter of continuance so we could get it all dried in. If not for him, it would have cost us a bundle in ruined floors and walls. We had two techs work on a water leak in our crawlspace. They replaced a three piece section of copper both rendering it easier to work on and conquering the leak. They left the space as tidy as they found it.Pricing: we were very satisfied with their work and found their pricing very reasonable. We will absolutely call them for any future upgrades and repairs.
