Dr. Lance has my back (literally) saved my livelihood on more than one occasion. I came to Lakewood Chiro. to alleviate pain from C5,6&7. I was working 3 jobs & was unable to lift arms above my head (fyi) I refuse to take pain medication or entertain the idea of surgery. I was in constant pain, with limited mobility, unable to care for myself. I w\as very emotional & breakdown in tears often, fearing a lifelong disability that would continuously inhibit me. I was forced to quit 2 of the 3 jobs I was working due to the pain. I was relying on my mother to care for me, assist with bills, personal care & daily tasks as I was unable to shower properly or dress myself at times. I was referred to Lakewood Chiropractor by a co-worker from the Schooner Bar. I trusted & kept faith in Dr. Lorfeld though the process took a little time. Honestly, I was skeptical that anything could be done. After several weeks of following his customized plan for rehabilitation, I had a full recovery. Dr. Lorfeld NEVER made any decisions about my care without consulting and explaining every step of the way. He never required unnecessary appointments or actions. Nothing was overbearing or invasive. in fact, he tapered down my visits far before I anticipated. He went above and beyond to accommodate payment options from my mother & insurance. I literally cannot say enough good things about my experience. I am NOT an easy patient to care for; I am frequently asking questions about the process & why each step is justified. I am extremely stubborn & strong willed in my beliefs of my care. This doctor renewed my trust in care providers. I have never been to any other chiropractor and now commute from Seattle for my alignment issues when they arise.
