“Connie is the absolute BEST. I needed a haircut and wanted to make a dramatic change to my very straight, flat, Asian hair (a digital perm, GAH!). Found her online and can honestly say this is the best experience I've ever had with a new stylist. Connie could practically finish my sentences and seemed to know exactly what I wanted without me having to explain much. I showed her some pictures of what I had in mind and she was honest about my expectations versus reality. She talked me through the process of getting a digital perm, explained everything she was doing as she was doing it, was very patient with my hundreds of questions. I could not have asked for a better experience. Three hours later, I walked out with exactly what I wanted: loose and natural-looking waves, volume, and someone I trust 100% with my hair. I literally wake up every morning looking as if I just styled my hair with a curling wand. Absolutely effortless. I'm SO happy! I have side-swept bangs, and they did get a little wonky with the perm. But it was no problem - I just came back a week later, and Connie worked her magic in like 30 seconds, cutting my bangs exactly the way I didn't even know I wanted them, and now they're perfect. My only wish is that I'd found Connie sooner. She is so warm and sweet, extremely professional and knowledgeable. She is now my go-to for all things hair. I recommended Connie to my friend whose college-age son wanted a perm and he apparently loves his too.“

“Some confusion because Google sent me to the wrong address at first but I still made the appointment and I am glad I didn't go elsewhere-She gave me the best haircut I have ever gotten in my entire life!! Worth every penny. To be clear my hair was messed up by my brother who gave me a COVID haircut and then at another salon...So I was beyond traumatized and just trying to salvage my hair for a job interview.My hair is not able to be the haircut I want because it's too mangled.But Rose was able to take that mangled hair and make it look decent!!!?I'm longer embarrassed to go outside nor feel frumpy because of my messed up hair.She clearly asked me to communicate my expectations, likes pictures to make sure we are on the same page, and explained the limitations we had to give me the haircut I want because of my hair type, and lack of hair (too short to form the angled look) but guess what?She still gave me the closest thing to it despite all of those issues.She also asked me honestly if I plan to iron my hair or just wash and dry when I go out and I answered honestly that I never fix my hair so she adapted the cut for my lifestyle.She's done such an incredible job and I feel fortunate I found such a treasure living close to home in Lakewood WA.She's slightly more expensive at $45 per cut but she's worth it. I've never had such an expert.I definitely plan to come here from now on and bring my mom!!Service: Haircut“

“I had a complete bang emergency, a place I had previously gone to messed up a simple bang cut so bad it looked like a child did it. I called Shears to You the next morning and spoke with Michelle who was able to get me in that same morning to rescue me. I went in and was taken care of with excellent care by Bridget who fixed my horrid situation and made it look wonderful. I cannot thank them enough and highly recommend. My new salon!!!“

“I love the outcome of my knotless braids the only reason they got a 4 star is that the braider was 45 minutes late to my appointment and still had to prep the hair which took 20 more minutes. Not a fan of tardiness and not being prepared.“

“I had severely matted hair that basically turned into one big clump dreadlock that i had for 2 months. When i came in Sharletha, the owner, didnt expect the condition of my hair to be that bad, yet she managed to work her MAGIC and get it done in 12 hrs in one day. We didnt think it was possible to save as much hair but she really had the skill, patience, and knowledge for it to turn out as best it could. She took no breaks at all and was dedicated on getting it done whilst making sure i wasnt in pain and as comfortable as possible. Shes super cool and i loved talking to her! the best frrr frrrr“
