“A long overdue review for Sunny and her fantastic Barber/Stylists at Lakewood. Been coming to this very establishment when I relocated here in 2017. Their barbering skills are unmatched, even against some of the experience (men) barbers closer to my area. I would drive from Seattle, through rush hour, just for a cut and sometimes the occasional eye brow wax when needed. All of the three ladies have been cutting hair for over 30 years and it shows in their work. Can't recommend them enough! Military members, this is where you need to go get your haircut and not on base/post (LOL).“

Worth every penny. To be clear my hair was messed up by my brother who gave me a COVID haircut and then at another salon...So I was beyond traumatized and just trying to salvage my hair for a job interview.My hair is not able to be the haircut I want because it's too mangled.But Rose was able to take that mangled hair and make it look decent!!!?I'm longer embarrassed to go outside nor feel frumpy because of my messed up hair.She clearly asked me to communicate my expectations, likes pictures to make sure we are on the same page, and explained the limitations we had to give me the haircut I want because of my hair type, and lack of hair (too short to form the angled look) but guess what?She still gave me the closest thing to it despite all of those issues.She also asked me honestly if I plan to iron my hair or just wash and dry when I go out and I answered honestly that I never fix my hair so she adapted the cut for my lifestyle.She's done such an incredible job and I feel fortunate I found such a treasure living close to home in Lakewood WA.She's slightly more expensive at $45 per cut but she's worth it. “Oh my gosh, I could write a book about Karina the owner at KayLuxx Beauty so much that I had to put her on Yelp as soon as I realized her Salon was not on Yelp yet. I found Karina back in 2019 I believe on Facebook after I had a traumatic experience somewhere else. I was afraid to get my lashes done again, but as soon as I sat in Karina's chair my fear went away. I remember that day she first examined my lashes to make sure they were healthy before giving me a new set & honestly, the rest has been history. My go to's are always the Hybrid lash set which is a happy medium between classics & volume. She does all kinds of sets you can think of, different lengths to tailor your eyes, different beautiful eyelash curl patterns, she adds color, I mean this girl has no limits to what she can do. Every time I leave her chair, I feel absolutely beautiful. If I have a day where I don't care to get ready, my lashes still keep me feeling & looking beautiful. I also want to add I moved away for a short time & decided not to get my lashes done because I simply just don't trust anyone else, Karina has really set the bar so high for my standards. She taught me how to properly care for my lash extensions & due to this sometimes I can go 3-4 weeks without a fill if I absolutely have to when life gets too busy for a short moment. Karina is professional, kind, & very knowledgable regarding lashes, lash health, waxing, & anything with your eyebrows. She offers eyebrow lamination, tinting, & shaping as well & she is so talented. Karina also offers Training courses at KayLuxx Beauty Salon so if you have ever been interested in becoming a Lash Artist she is your girl! She has helped create many lash artists. Karina also takes many courses to learn new techniques & stay up to date with the beauty industry & of course her work shows this!! She is very active on instagram, that's where she does most of her advertising for her business. The salon is super cute, pink, & cozy (also super clean)! She also has the perfect lighting & mirror for those fresh lash sets or fills selfies. I highly recommend Karina for your lash needs, & I'll forever be a loyal client of hers!!“
