Heather is a great equine vet! She is knowlegable and concise. If she feels an issue is outside of her area of expertise she is connected and will refer out to a specialist readily. Highly recommend!

Dr. Wenzell has been my veterinarian for over 15 years. A couple months ago my 22 year old mare had a bought of laminitis. Not only did she do a video consult along with perfect radiographs for me to show my farrier so we could get her shoeing correct, she rushed the blood work as well as called me to check in on my horse. We were able to get her the meds and diet she needed right away. She also completed a large vaginal tumor removal in the field on my 32 year old mare. My bills have always been consistent with her quotes and if something is going to cost more, I am told before a procedure occurs. I'm happy to pay her fees as I feel they are very reasonable for the time she gives me as a client. She has even responded to a late night call when I panicked about my horse. Dr. Wenzell is willing to put forth a lot of effort to ensure proper care for my horses.

They came out right away to put my Big handsome boy to sleep, they are not my regular vet but I will probably start using them for all my horse care needs, Little spendy but in this particular case I wasnt going to bute my boy for 3 days watching him suffer waiting on my regular vet to come out when I already knew what had to be done. And they didnt make me feel bad for crying infront of them
