My parents use this vet and, after 3 other vet offices, they have FINALLY found a great place! They are nice. They are polite. They are patient when you have questions... And they are good to the animals as well as the people. ??

Our beloved 11 year old boxer had a stroke while traveling that unfortunately was not survivable. We are not local and it was early in the morning. Although he was breathing, he was no longer with us and we wanted to have him go the rest of the way peacefully. I called Hawks Prairie the moment they opened and was told to bring him in immediately and they would help him along his way. We rushed over and were greeted by the most kind, compassionate team who carried our baby boy in and eased him over the bridge. I have been to a few vets in the greater area and have never been fully satisfied until coming here. The staff are pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful, and Dr. Yoshi was very thorough with my pets exam as well as in explaining everything to me.
The place is clean. It doesn’t smell bad like a lot of vets do. The prices are great and the only “surprises” I got were how little my total was when I was checking out.
I came to get my pets paperwork in order for an international move. This vet was quite out of the way for me but I couldn’t find anyone else who offered this service. It ended up being completely worth it. Everyone... read full review
