My wife has keratoconus, an eye condition that can be very problematic to treat and very stressful on the patient and those they love. We were introduced to Dr. David Kading when another doctor suspected it was KC and have been going to see him and his staff for around 15 years or so. Dr. David is one of the kindest, gentlest medical professional we have ever met and truly cares about his patients above all. He is a specialist in his field and gives talks around the country about specialty contact fittings and assessment of difficult conditions. It has been wonderful to see his practice grow and to see the doctors he has helped train in his specialization to help them go on and help even more people as they open their own practices or become part of other groups. We truly can't recommend Specialty Eye enough whether it is Dr. David with his specialty or his wife Dr. Kristi who specializes more with children and other unique vision aspects. Truly a top notch provider.
I have been seeking help for severe adverse vaccine reaction to J&J Covid-19 for 10 months. All other possible underlying conditions have been ruled out. The structure of my eyes are fine, but I’ve had vision problems for the first time in my life. A speech therapist last week mentioned noticing difficulty in visual tracking and appearing like a traumatic brain injury patient. He suggested vision therapy. I asked UW Long Covid clinic where to try fir visual rehabilitation for TBI/concussion and they recommended this clinic. I wrote them back today and thanked them, because this is the first appointment that could identify exactly what was going on with my vision, and had ideas of what might help. They were able to get me in to a first rehabilitation appointment for baseline the same week. Even though today was my first appointment, it gave me hope that what they saw was not out of the ordinary for brain injury and they had hopeful stories of people with similar symptoms that made progress. The technology they used in evaluation and the in-person techniques showed me they really knew what to check for.
Very professional and friendly staff. The Technology Dr and technical support very knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommended it.
