“I'm always happy with the shirts, but my customer service experience recently was great.

I realized 5 minutes before close on Saturday that I needed my shirts for a flight on Sunday. I called and without hesitation Luis offered to wait for me to drive 15 minutes there. I pulled up at twelve minutes after Jubilee was supposed to close. Luis greeted me with a smile and my shirts. He said he is always willing to stay a bit longer as long as folks call to let him know.

Tip to management: fix the tipping on your tap to pay point of sale! I paid with my smartphone but it failed if I tried to apply a tip. Again with a great attitude, Luis said it often doesn't work with tips but always works without tips. He punched in "no tip" and it worked. I wish I had had cash to give him because he deserved a tip!“

They were able to offer fast service and also put my items on hold till the very last minute. It was about $200 to alter my dress but that's what you pay for quality! “Fabulous tailoring experience for my family’s Indian attire for my wedding. My family, a white American family, had never been to an Indian wedding and was feeling uncertain about their outfits which we had ordered online. After some searching, I found Bellevue Alterations and saw that they had done Indian attire before so decided to give them a try. The ladies there didn’t bat an eye; they set to work adjusting the sleeves of my nephew’s Nehru jacket and the fit of my sister’s embroidered choli (blouse), as well as adjusting the waist and clasp of her skirt. They fixed my niece’s lehenga and hemmed my brother in law’s kurta. They took in my mom’s anarkali in all the right places and also adjusted a beautiful beaded Adrienne Papel gown she had bought for the western wedding so that it fit her like a glove. All of the alterations were done well, to our bodies, and done on time. Pricing was reasonable. In all, what I really valued was the peace of mind that Bellevue Alterations offered me and my family from the moment we walked in - their expertise made it clear they knew what they were doing, knew Indian clothes and how their should fit/hang, and knew how to make the needed adjustments to make everything fit everyone and look stylish and flattering. Only thing was that the hours were sometimes a challenge - not having any pickup windows on the weekends was challenging. But, we made it work and everyone felt and looked great in their outfits! “I have been going here for a very long time. They are fantastic! It's not just dry cleaning, she (a very nice lady) and her husband do all sorts of alterations and repairs. I can't sew a button back on without breaking down and weeping in frustration, so I am glad they are just down the street! Their turnaround time is great, and their prices are reasonable. “My suit jacket was altered flawlessly, even though it is reclaimed vintage fabric that is difficult to work with. She is quite expensive, but if you need high quality work done then you can rely on her. I only had 6 days before leaving town for a wedding. She charged $150 to take in the waist and shorten the arms of my delicate suit jacket (April 2023). Details like wrist buttons and seam lines were preserved - on the hanger it looked like the original, but when I put it on it fit perfectly. Loads of compliments at the wedding!“
