Alex's proficiency and attentiveness are evident through his consistent inquiry about my concerns during each visit, his attentive listening, and his ability to adjust the treatment plan accordingly. “Dr Arden Pinault is the best ever! I am glad I had health issues that other Doctors were incapable of treating because it led me to Dr Arden. He is so thorough, intelligent, kind, considerate and truly cares about his patients. He is such a joy and this is the best experience I have ever had with a medical provider. I am moving out of state, but will plan to fly in just to see him, he is that good! He listens to my concerns and devises a treatment plan that is tailored best to my needs. My only regret is I did not meet him sooner!“

“Jean has been my therapist on and off for many years now. I appreciate her genuine care for her clients' wellbeing and being easygoing. I very much appreciate SABA's efforts throughout the pandemic to keep everyone healthy as much as possible by requiring masks. People who are immunocompromised and/or have family members who are deserve best care too and this is one of the most effective ways to decrease the risk of getting respiratory illnesses.“

“I’m so grateful that I found this ‘hidden gem’ and I want to show my sincere appreciation to Dr. Duan. I’ve been suffering from insomnia, body stiffness and pain for unknown reasons. I visited this clinic by a friend’s strong recommendation today. Dr. Duan was so skillful and knowledgeable in both her acupuncture and her way to approach patient. She asked me a lot of questions and I can tell she truly cares about her patient. Based on her strong solid medical background, I’m amazed to see the effectiveness and art of true professional acupuncture. I left the place feeling so much relaxed mentally and physically by just ONE visit. I can’t wait to come back. Huge respect to this place and Dr. Duan ?“

1100 NW 50th St, Seattle
Sacred Rain Healing Center Acupuncture

“My partner and I really like the concept behind this (C/O mixed gender spa), but it still has a bit to go before getting a fifth star. The facilities are clean and well maintained, but a bit cramped (the single sauna is just too small to accommodate everyone at times). It would be nice if there were a sauna clock or sand timers in the sauna too (typical in European saunas for safety concerns). Also, there can be a lack of available seating outside... especially if you want a sunbed.

With regards to etiquette, they give you a thin wrap and a single towel for your visit. We chose not to cover up with either during our visit, since it seems silly. However, it would be nice if they had a rule mandating shower shoes/slides when using the facility. Also, though people did sit/lie on their towels, there were lots of bare skin on the sauna benches and sun beds; my wife laid down to work on her tan, only to complain that the cushion smelled like feet. Another problem was that people frequently entered the sauna only minutes after someone else had; this lowers the temperature and is poor sauna etiquette.

As far as atmosphere is concerned, it was 80% single males...which seems to be the norm when it comes to social nudity in the U.S. Not to say that single males are a problem per se, but rather the ratio certainly could make females uncomfortable and is certainly not Sacred Rain's fault. All this said, will be returning!“

“I was referred here by my amazing acupuncturist in the UK for my ill mother. He had done his research to find me the best acupuncturist in Seattle area and found Dr Yang.Dr Yang is a talented man and if you are lucky to be seen by him, you have won the lotto! He’s very skilled and has years of experience.I had a treatment with Dr Duan for female problems and was very impressed. I think if I had the ability to see her regularly, she could truly help me but I do not live in the US and can only come on visits. She is very calm, lovely, and listens well to assess patients’ problems. Also in just the first session, I felt the chi running through me towards the end. Very hard to explain but I could feel an energy current running around- it was lovely. I slept so well that night.I also appreciated hearing her opinion on my issues that I had already consulted with several doctors prior with no resolution. She is well versed in female issues and it was comforting to hear her suggestions.I will make sure to stop by whenever I am in town. Also I must add: this is one of the cleanest and nicest facilities for acupuncture that I have encountered. I was very impressed how clean it was. It is run properly and professionally. If you are looking for acupuncture in the Seattle area, you would be foolish to not come here.“

“I'm feeling so much better, thanks to Bob Doane and his associates. The team there is amazing. Bob is more of an herbalist, even though I have heard he will do some accupuncture, I've yet to have him do mine, he's usually on calls and with patients.
The man is a genius, he's of an older generation, not really old to me being 51, but he reminds me of my grandfather who passed 14 years ago at 84, but he reminds me of my grandfather when he was in his 70's. He's got gentle hands, and he uses them to sense your pulse in both wrists, something NO western medicine folks do.
If you have trauma, like broken bones or need anti-biotics for a flu, by all means, go see a traditional western doctor, but if you are looking to heal yourself from within, to be healthy long term, and get off all those pharmacuticals that western med pushes, you want to see Bob Doane.
I'll say this about price, you get what you pay for. Accupuncture should not be cheap. If your insurance covers you for a once a month visit, then you will want to find another place maybe. But see them first, I don't know all the ins and outs of your insurance.

It should be noticed, they practice indirect accupuncture, if you have a headache they might put a needle in the heal of your foot or for example my left knee was bothering me and so she put needles in my elbows.
My first experience with Accupuncture 30 years ago was like this, I had them from head to toe, but mainly my shins because my issue was related to my liver and digestive track. I also learned from that Chinese Medicine doctor that I needed to eat red meat and had to stop being a vegetarian. Which was difficult for a moment as I had been practicing vegetarian for almost 5 years, but he was right and I got better.
My issues today are autoimmune related and menopausal. My mother had Lupus and died very young because of it. I do not want to die young since I had my son at an older age, I need to live longer in order to see him grow up. I plan on taking herbs from AWC for the rest of my life!
When I first started seeing Bob, the list of ailments was SO LONG... Redness in my face and arms, really bad acne on my face, unable to sleep through the night, constant cravings for sweets and high carb- high sugar foods... aches and pains and migraines treated with NSAIDS... along with nightsweats, feeling hot ALL the time or unable to warm myself at times... just body temps all over the place... bloating and swelling of my waste, fingers, joints etc...
I have only been going for a few months now and I can honestly say I feel much improved, I'm able to exercise, I don't have the cravings for sweets at night, I sleep through the night, if I do get up to P, I fall right back to sleep! I have energy througout the day and although I still need to lose weight, I feel like it is finally possible! And my skin is clear and although I have some redness from broken capilaries, I am not constantly red... I mean, folks used to say I looked flush all the time, I don't need to wear cover up anymore on my face!
I do not have the bloating I used to have either and I use the bathroom regularly... I still have some issues of course but one day at a time.
OH! I almost forgot, Bob does push for an almost "Paleo" diet, meat and green veggies... if you're not trying to lose weight, then he will suggest it, but doesn't "PUSH" it... my husband increased his meat eating and changed a few things, but mostly still eats the same, as we have been a meat and potatoes family for quite some time. I do need to start being more strict with my diet, and will... Right now though I am just happy to be feeling a lot better and feeling hopeful for a healthier me.“
