Gene showed up as promised and quickly found the problem with our existing thermostat installation . . . loose wire had caused a short in the line. He fixed the wires and then installed a new upgraded thermostat. We will use Gene again when we need help with electrical issues.

I had three appointments with Phase NW Electricians for diagnostic and fix a couple of dead outlets and install a new one. Each time, the electrician arrived on time, worked meticulously, and kept me informed throughout the process. I especially appreciated the clear communication and the safety advice provided during the work.
On one occasion, the electrician couldn’t make it due to an emergency, but the supervisor promptly called to reschedule. The owner personally came out and completed the job quickly and professionally.

An outside GFCI outlet wasn't working. I worked to troubleshoot the issue, and observed a spark in the circuit breaker when turning it back on. At this point, I decided I needed an expert to weigh in on the problem. I found Phase NW in the Best Pick guide for South King County and was able to obtain an appointment in a couple of days. The initial quote was an estimate based on the information I provided. When the electrician was able to diagnose the issue within a few minutes, he provided helpful information to me and charged me for 1/2 hour of time, which was significantly less than the initial estimate.
