LIFE SENTENCE inK Tattoo Shop, formerly known as Tough As Tacoma, offers a wide range of tattoo styles. They are open daily from 1 pm, staying open as late as 2 am on weekends. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. The shop boasts talented artists specializing in various styles. Chris specializes in traditional tattoos with bold color and lines. He is a damn good artist who really knows how to make a design come to life with perfect line work, shading, and color. Customers praise the shop's VERY clean and tidy atmosphere and incredibly sweet, friendly service. Many highlight the artists' skill and ability to bring their ideas to life. Chris is extremely professional and takes a lot of pride in every piece, making sure customers are comfortable and relaxed throughout the whole process. All artwork has healed amazingly.

My best friend and I came here after a girls night out. We walked-in and described what we were wanting. Vince went back and drew up our idea with his own touch! It was exactly what we wanted.

My best friend and I have only ever been tattooed by women, but Vince was so friendly, easy to talk/joke with and his shop has such a welcoming environment!

We will definitely be back. :)

I had the pleasure of working with Chris Porco for a half leg sleeve including the knee. First off Chris was extremely professional and takes a lot of pride in every piece he does. He made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Everything I have had tattooed from him has been an original work. The line work to the shading and color is all perfect. I would recommend Chris to anyone whether it is your first tattoo or you just want more.

I’ve had the pleasure of getting a few pieces done by Chris including my shin, knee, two on my thigh and most recently is my calf pictured below. I’d say he’s a damn good artist and really knows how to make a design come to life. The shop is always tidy and clean and all my artwork has healed amazingly and if I had any questions or wanted to change something to a design he was quick to reply and help me figure out what would look best for me.
