I'm a general contractor. Jeld-Wen are among the very most affordable windows available. For all of you 1 star commentators, you get what you pay for in construction, but I will say, in 25 years, even though they are inexpensive, I've never ever had ANY issues with this company. Your one anecdotal experience.....to my 100's of experiences. Be kind and at least give em 2 stars if it was all so horrifying...lol

Ordered some solid core doors that are very disappointing. Lumps in the doors. Hinge locations were routed very sloppy.I have to sand the smaller lumps to smooth out and the hinge locations as well.1 door I don’t even think I can install because it looks so bad.I hope Jeld-Wen will help with solution.

So often I read reviews left by unsatisfied consumers. But not today! We purchased a brand new home 12 years ago and the weathered side of our home had windows from Jeld-Wen (and a sliding glass door) that had failed. Failed, as in condensation between the two panes. Around Easter, I made my first call to ask about a warranty. They were under warranty still! Four months later, they have now been installed like brand new! The service man, G. was absolutely kind, personable, hard working and was happy to help educate us on how to get screens, replaced by purchase. This is a trustworthy company. Busy, yes.... but for a very good reason.
