When I first started going to Krystal 4 years ago, I got worried when she suggested I do some layers around my face to help shape it, as I had a bad experience with a previous hair stylist who botched the layers. I put my trust in Krystal, and she made me feel so beautiful and confident! She has always been very informative and straight forward, and I finally know what type of hair I have because of her and how to care for it! I’ve stuck with her since! She is so welcoming, and treats everyone with respect! I love her so much and will recommend her salon any chance I get❤️

Krystal is phenomenal! I have been going to her for my color, cuts, and styles since November 2020, and I haven’t been to anyone since. I also started taking my daughter to her for her haircuts since 2022, who always looks forward to her salon appointment. Lokahi’s atmosphere is warm and inviting with lots of plants, great coffee to drink, and snacks for those long salon appointments. As long as Krystal is in town, we’ll keep coming back!

Used to think the perfect haircut was a TicTok myth, but not at Lōkahi. Krystal nails the cut and always gets the color (blonde) perfect. Back to the cut - my hair is naturally wavy - sometimes I blow it dry, sometimes I let it air dry which I can do with this cut - somehow she cuts it so that independent of how I style it, my hair is even and seems to know what to do - hair dryer/Airwrap or air-dry natural wave. Not sure how she does it - part artistry, part magic, maybe. Lōkahi’s relaxing and welcoming environment is enough to entice you in; but what happens behind the door is without compromise - never disappointed ❤️
