Shin's Taekwondo Academy offers excellent instruction for children of all ages. The teachers are patient and caring, going above and beyond to help students learn and grow. Students develop body confidence, self-discipline, and learn valuable life lessons like kindness and perseverance. The academy provides a positive environment where children can excel in their Taekwondo skills and personal development. Master Shin is passionate about teaching and creates a supportive atmosphere for students to thrive.
The owner Shin is a very nonsense teacher. He respects the students and strictly enforces the same in return from his students. If you mess around or goof off I hope you are good at push ups, because you will be doing a lot of them. For the beginning classes for the little ones he likes to make it fun at the end of class. By doing things like competition high jumps, which is also teaching them but more of a fun way. He also only requires month to month payments. You are not required to sign up for a year or more like some other places around. He has a couple viewing areas where you can sit and watch.
Excellent teachers with so much patience with little kids. We got our daughter started early for taekwondo to help her develop body confidence since she is the smallest in her class and was unfortunately, facing subtle bullying in her class. Master Shin and the teachers go above and beyond to help her learn things that she finds mentally and physically challenging. Cannot recommend this school enough!
My son has been attending Master Shin’s school since he was only 4.5 years old! He has progressed and improved so much year by year. He’s always looking forward to coming to practice twice a week and recently joined sparring class and loves it! Great lessons for the body and the mind! Master Shin is really caring, great with kids and very passionate about teaching! Join Master Shin’s taekwondo school and I guarantee you won’t regret!! Highly recommended!!
