Jack is a MASTER. The BEST of the best! I've been having deep tissue/therapeutic massage for over 35 years because of my strenuous profession. I've had massage therapy all around the world from both male and female therapists (I'm a woman). There are many therapists who do a nice or even very nice job (and some who are only mediocre or worse!). But every so often you meet someone who is so intuitive in their work, born out of a clear passion for their craft that they deliver the very highest levels of excellence from start to finish. This is Jack. He is PHENOMENAL. A true professional in the top echelon of his peers that is inspiring to see. He is so excellent that I imagine him as a type of Jedi Master! And as an aside, he always greets me with a big friendly smile and seems genuinely happy to see me (even with a language barrier). What a gift for me that he works close to where I live! Just a comment on the other reviews posted - particularly about the tipping. Bliss Spa is generally a good value for the money. I had the same experience as others in the summer of 2025 with similar inquiries about my tipping (which is totally NOT cool), but this hasn't happened for a few months, so I imagine they got the feedback and corrected this problem. Do I tip? Yes, and a good one! But with the immense respect I have for Jack and his work, I do something I otherwise never do: I go out of my way to make sure I have cash to give to him personally - as my way to honor him and thank him for his work. Thank you Jack.
Right away I felt very comfortable. There is a central massage area and they also have private massage rooms. I was in the central area and received a 30 minute feet and leg massage. I'm a big gal, and they made sure I was fully comfortable before starting. They adjusted the chair twice for me and brought extra pillows for my back. It was a full 30 minutes of massage, not including the extra time for the foot soak and the hot towel dry at the end. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or a burden. They made me feel very welcomed and like they were happy for me to be here. My adult kids came too and they got the full back and legs in a private room. Their massage was the full 60 minutes and included hot stones and some deep tissue on certain areas. I highly recommend coming here and will be back. They were also to take us as a walk in. I want to touch on the tip situation because there seem to be concerns in the past. I tipped about 21% on the credit card amount. That was $15 for each of the 1 hour massage and $10 for my 30 minute foot massage. The employee did show me the tip chart and I said "just $40 total" and that was the end of the tip discussion. I had no issues with it.
Jack was fantastic. He bossed my body around with a solid medium pressure and I know with my whole soul he could have rocked out a heck of a deep tissue. I'm from out of town but am dreaming of a return trip just to have another go!
