Dr. Gillette is by far the best Vet! Whether you bring your animals to the clinic or he makes a farm call, same great service and advice. Sweet guy! Dawn, in his office is very responsive and helpful--she even remembered what flavor meds my horse likes and texted me when it was back in stock!
So nice and accommodating. We had a Backcountry horsemen clinic on packing at the facility. Dr. Jack was kind enough to let us use his room for demonstrations and the other facilities. This Saturday there will be a first aid clinic for horses. I can't say enough wonderful things.
Lazer Therapy saved my horse! Hank, had foundered, and the prognosis was grim. I contacted Dr. Gillette's office for a second opinion. Hank was seen right away, and I found out that there was more that could be done. The Doctor proposed a treatment plan that included Lazer Therapy and nutritional support, all of which were affordable. Dawn, the technician , scheduled the appts. and administered the treatments. She was very patient with Hank and connected with him right away. She was also very kind and encouraging to me. I still prepared myself for the worst. However, by the third treatment, the improvement was undeniable! After the sixth and final treatment, Dr. Gillette told me that Hank was ready for corrective shoes and offered to talk with the farrier about Hank's needs. I am amazed with the results and the short time in which so much progress was made! Within three weeks, Hank was well on his way to being healthy again. I was also able to start riding him at a walk and slow trot, on soft footing , for 10 to 15 minutes, each day. The doctor said, " His drilling years are over, but he will do fine on the trails." That was great news and more than I thought was possible! The Lazer Therapy, along with the specialized care from Dr.Gillette and Dawn, saved Hank's life. For that, I will always be grateful.
