I came to eye candy optical to check if I have BVD. They were so helpful and amazing! I do have BVD and was prescribed prism lenses. Everything feels different now, I feel steady on my feet, haven't had a tension headache since getting my glasses and can read so much easier! Also I was able to pick really fun and funky frames. I highly suggest making an appointment if you suspect you might have BVD

I'm not exaggerating when I say that coming here was LIFE CHANGING. In 2022, I began having debilitating migraines every 2-3 days. After beginning effective pharmaceutical interventions in 2023, I started having them every 10-14 days. Now that I have my prism glasses, I'm approaching THREE MONTHS migraine-free - I never, ever thought I would feel this relief. I first learned about BVD years ago when I discovered I was Autistic and learned it is a common comorbidity. I have also had debilitating vertigo for decades, and I finally decided this year to get evaluated for BVD. Scheduling was so easy, everything was so thoroughly explained, Tegan was super helpful with insurance and fee explanation. Eye Candy is such a cute spot in a great location!
