“What an amazing find this was on San Juan Island in Friday Harbor. I was too busy while wrapping up business and getting my boat ready for my annual trip to Roche Harbor for the 4th of July to squeeze in a haircut and decided to find a "local" salon in Friday Harbor instead. I looked on Yelp and contacted a couple of salons and then decided to jump on the shuttle and make the 20 minute trip into town. I walked by Local and walked into an incredibly charming and cool salon and Connie was sitting behind the desk and after I asked about getting a walk in haircut she warmly whisked me in, sat me in her chair and gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. Connie is amazing, the shop is a stones throw from the center of town, great music and space. If anyone is looking for the best haircut in San Juan Island look no further than Connie at Local!“
