We visited there late 2021, had to wait for an hour. Then the dental assistant spilled cement all over my sons clothes. Had to throw away clothes. My son continued to have issues with the tooth they worked on and had to have it all re-done at another dentist. The new dentist said they had never seen such bad work done by another dentist. 2 years later I get a statement from Federal Way Dental Excellence stating that our insurance didnt pay (because the dentist failed to send the requested documents) and now it's too late to try to rebill and now Im stuck with the bill. I never received any notice of this and no invoice or statement was mailed out until now. Receptionist was very rude and unwilling to help. DONT GO HERE!
We called ahead to ask if they accept our dental insurance and they confirmed that they do. Turns out they don't accept our insurance and they didn't tell us until after our cleanings. We had to pay the full amount out of pocket. The office is nice and hygienists did a great job but it's disappointing they didn't tell us prior to our appointments of the insurance coverage or lack thereof. We were reminded multiple times of our appointment by text and phone call but there was no mention of the insurance issue. It's sad that businesses just want your money and are not concerned about informing the patients of important matters like this.
Do not go to this dentist..I had them do a root canal 5 weeks ago that is still painful. I have gone back only to be told I need to go to a specialist which I told them I can't afford being all my insurance money 2800$. Went to them for a failed root canal. Go to a qualified professional who cares about you. I was also charged for an extraction they didn't do. I caught the mistake not them. It's been 3 weeks and still no credit. I have 5 good root canals never a problem.
