Joy of Acupuncture

I find the experience of going to Joy very restful. I have at times had good results and other times the effects were temporary. She was trained in China and has a different approach than western trained acupuncturists. I am hoping she can squeeze me in this morning!

I was referred to Joy by my physiatrist, who was seeing me for ongoing back and right leg pain. I had done everything possible for the pain--physical therapy, chiropractor, nerve pain medications, massage, steroid injections--all of which would help temporarily but not permanently. After almost 2 years of pain, I was to the point of despair. I was going to go to the orthopedic surgeon, but it would take me 6 weeks to get in, plus the surgery had only a 50% success rate.
