My grandmother was checked into this place, and their management during the covid crisis is terrifying - negligent even. I feel for the staff at this time, I understand mistakes happen, but not being able to support or interact with loved ones, to give nurses sanitized clothes/books/food that never make it to the patients, and misinformation by every member of the staff just makes me afraid. Visiting is conducted through a window, or on the patio, both options next to the HVAC system. If your loved one misplaces their phone, they're wheeled away crying. For everyone giving this place 5 stars and comparing it to other places...I feel for you. For everyone else that has a First World paradigm and is reviewing this place because you still have an option, this place is an absolute SH!+H0/€. One of my relatives has not been bathed or dressed in the 5 days he's been here and has been subject to other things physically that could have been avoided with an appropriate amount of attention. Also the walls have not been painted in 50 years and dingy, dingy, dingy. For what this place charges it should be much better. Just remember that this is covered by Medicare. So next time you see a Medicare deduction out of your paycheck... read full review

If you are thinking to place a love one in this facility please do not!! We placed our mom at Stafford in May 2018 being referred by another facility.. Mom had a heart attack, fell and broke a bone in her neck, and subsequently had a stroke which left her paralyzed on the right side, but she was a trooper and recovered to the best of her ability. While at Stafford she was moved 3 times, once to the 3rd floor which basically houses those with mental issues, which mom did not have, she was still very mentally sharp...by some stroke of luck she was moved back to the second floor ...the CNA's were very caring and helpful, however, the administrative staff, nurses and... read full review
