“I take my 2 kids here for trims and my elderly father for his haircuts. She does a great job! She’s very gentle and respectful with my father who has declining communication skills. It’s a very local, small town kind of place which is why we like it. As for the reviews about rudeness, my guess is it’s cross cultural misunderstanding. The owner/stylist is very warm and kind once you make the effort to have a conversation. Services are basic but that’s what Coupeville needs, basic offerings so we don’t have to travel north or south, and that’s why she’s been around so long. “I've had facials all over world, in some pretty ritzy establishments, but Jacqui's wins. She is extremely present, takes her time and she's very generous with the massage. It felt like an energy work session and it had some immediate anti-aging benefits. I can't wait to return. Also, the organic products she uses are powerful, yet gentle and smells wonderful. 10/10 would recommend.“

Meagan is a total gem and honestly the best kind of stylist–true artistic vision, honest about what’s possible/best for your hair type, a cutting wizard, and an amazing person to boot. Even longer than I should’ve gone beteeen cuts and faded color I still get a ton of compliments on the vivids+shag that Meagan does for me–it’s so cool to watch her take vague inspiration and turn it into wearable art (that even better fits with my level of maintenance and styling)! My mother in law came in from Florida and specifically asked to visit Meagan as well–she had had a hard time finding a salon in Florida that could cut the way she was thinking and who could help her cover gray in a way that wasn’t just “blonde”. Meagan totally delivered on both ends and my MIL left tickled pink with a color combo and cut that added dimension, movement, and of course gorgeous color to achieve her goals.

My daughter was not sure if she wanted to have her first haircut, but felt comfortable enough with Diva Lounge and Meagan to come in and talk about it. Meagan took the time to discuss in detail with my little one her fears and answered all of her questions without making her feel silly or small. She decided “no thank you” to a haircut for right now, but the confidence she gained from feeling listened to and hyped up without feeling pressured thanks to Meagan is priceless. Diva Lounge definitely walks the walk when it comes to genuine acceptance and building each other up!!“

“Although I'm not from the area, I would recommend this salon to anyone in Oak Harbor, or passing through. Joshua gave me excellent customer service, from spending one on one time to get a thorough idea of my goals for my color, to making me a fresh cup of coffee when he saw me yawning (I work nights). He did every little nuance that I expect from an upscale salon service, with a genuine sense of enjoyment of his profession. No dramatic sighs, or eye rolls when I stated what I wanted. He kept me realistic, but still achieved the look I wanted. I will definitely be returning when I'm in the area.“

It's been 8 years since anyone has done wonders with my hair like this, and that was back when I lived in California!
The products he used were an absolute game-changer, making my hair instantly healthier. I've realized that the person I usually visit must not use the same quality products because of the night and day are difference. And the technique? I've never seen anyone blend a partial highlight the way Marshall did. I’m already planning to work my hair appointments around seeing Marshall twice next summer. Even with the recommendations of connections here in Scottsdale, I have a feeling I’ll be chasing his level of perfection and skills for a long time!“
