Imported from Google review: I chose Pipos based on their 4.8 star rating. I wish I would have shopped around. I've included all communication for transparency purposes. The soil was not added. The ground was not leveled. The guys that did come out were nice and worked hard while they were here. I never spoke or met with anyone besides the lady that answered the phone. No one answered how to care for the new sod. I watered 2 times a day. We stayed off of it for about 3 weeks. Literally just mowed a couple of days ago for the first time. I only gave them more than 1 star because I feel like the guys working are doing as they are advised to do by their employer and they are courteous and work hard. I would not recommend Pipos for landscaping.
I hired Pipo's Lawn Care Services to aerate my lawn after seeing their ad on Facebook Marketplace, and seeing their few (but exceptional) reviews. I had unknowingly missed the window of time that they were offering the service for $79, but they honored the price still which was very nice of them. I can't believe how fast he was, yet without sacrificing quality. I noticed he rocked the aerator back onto the spikes to get a deeper coring, instead of letting it ride on the wheels (which undoubtedly would have been much easier and perfectly acceptable/the standard). I appreciated seeing him make the extra effort to do this. Man, he was huffing and puffing when he was done, definitely a hard worker! I went with them for the price (the second cheapest I found was an independent individual for $100), but can definitely say I would suggest them to others after seeing their work.
