During the course of discussing the scope of work with various contractors to build a rock wall, and repairing damaged portions, A & J proved themselves by knowing the scope of work desired and provided a written drawing, proposal, and estimate. We are extremely pleased with our decision to hire A & J Retaining Walls. As they are extremely capable and knowledgable stone wall builders. And, their price was extremely reasonable. Without a doubt, the wall they built exceeded our exceptions in appearance and the artistic manner in which they placed various sizes of natural stones. Jas and his crew did an amazing job on our recent multi level retaining wall project! They stayed on time & on budget! I couldn't be happier with the finished results!
It was a pleasure working with Jas and his crew from start to finish, and all my expectations were exceeded. A & J provided a reasonable price quote, and completed the project with incredible professionalism, efficiency and minimal hassle. The hillside below our home was eroding, two previous basalt rock retaining walls were failing, and access to the work site area was very challenging due to slope. A & J removed the old basalt rocks, built two massive, new retaining walls with concrete block, then re-used the basalt rock to build another wall in another portion of the yard. The A & J crew made easy work of it, and their wall building experience was quite evident. They own all of their own heavy equipment, and know how to use it. The job was done in about 7 days, and the job site was cleaned-up nightly and upon completion. Highly recommended!
