I want to preface by saying that my interaction with Will was phenomenal from the beginning until the end of my tattooing experience. I wanted to get a henna-inspired tattoo for my 31st birthday, and I quickly found that getting an artist in the area to work with me was not an easy feat. I was turned down twice before I came across Tattoo Technique (it was explained to me that a lot of artists are hesitant about doing this sort of style if they don’t specialize in it). I want to preface by saying that my interaction with Will was phenomenal from the beginning until the end of my tattooing experience. I wanted to get a henna-inspired tattoo for my 31st birthday, and I quickly found that getting an artist in the area to work with me was not an easy feat. I was turned down twice before I came across Tattoo Technique (it was explained to me that a lot of artists are intimidated to do this style). Will, however, was very open and welcoming when I walked into his shop and showed him a variety of photos that I was really drawn toward, and he discussed what his ideas were that he would love to incorporate. I didn't have any set final product in my head, so anything that he could come up with that would mesh elements of what I was explaining to him had a high probability of exciting me. I gave him a $40 dollar cash deposit that day and he got to work on a sketch for me. A day or so later I checked in with him about what he came up with, and I thought his design was stunning. I came in and got the job done with him a day or so later. We conversed tons during the visit, and I appreciated his attitude and care during the visit. He properly sanitized myself and the needles, and I overall enjoyed the vibe of the shop. By the time I left, I felt like I had not only gained a fabulous tattoo that I couldn't be more pleased with, but also a new friend. Couldn't have asked for a better dude. I am certainly coming back for my next tattoo. He specializes in traditional Chinese art! My next choice is a phoenix, and I know he won't disappoint. Highly recommend. The pictures provided are what my tattoo looks like after a few weeks of healing.

Two of my friends and I decided to get matching tattoos one night while visiting near Callow. We were going to go to Smitty's since we knew him, but he had closed early for some reason. The only place we could find open on a Wednesday night was Tattoo Technique. Our design was a simple small line tattoo, so we figured anyone could handle it. The gentleman working here was very friendly and polite. He used new clean needles and cleaned us with alcohol. My only complaints are that he didn't wash his hands (did put on gloves eventually though), the place was pretty dirty, especially the restroom, and he went way too deep for a wrist tattoo.
