Unlike previous experiences with other contractors, Jose personally worked on our kitchen from day one. He kept his crew small and efficient. Our biggest concern with any contractor was communication. Jose consistently provided us with updates through the kitchen remodel. Nothing was done without first communicating with us. As far as the design on the kitchen, Jose was encouraging and mirrored our enthusiasm. He gave us great suggestions when we weren’t sure about design aspects. He never pushed his own agenda, but rather wanted to make our vision of our kitchen come to life. He provided sound suggestions along the way.Lastly, Jose and his crew exemplified professionalism and excellent craftsmanship. They were punctual, on time, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. Their attention to detail is what really set them apart. During installation of our backsplash, if a tile was slightly off, Jose would not stop until it’s precisely aligned or he would simply redo a section of the kitchen until it was perfect.If you are on the fence or unsure about which contractor to hire for your home improvement, I urge to contact Jose and Cruz Construction. “Farshad and Navid at Premium Wood did a great job fixing my fence. A wind storm blew down several panels and posts, but I really didn't want to replace them since I have climbing plants growing through and between the slats (including a 10+ year old unusual jasmine variety that is my pride and joy). They came up with a creative solution - adding new posts and attaching the old ones to those - that saved my plants and has my fence back up without having to demolish anything. And now I have bonus posts to grow new climbing vines on! They're also great at communicating via email/text/phone promptly, which is not something you can always count on with contractors. I highly recommend them for their creativity, respect for the owner's priorities, and ability to come up with cost-effective solutions.“
