We live nearby so we've never booked a room. It is on our go to list for restaurants and the Spa. The ambience in the Spa is wonderful and the massage therapists are amazing! I recommend a 90 min deep tissue (they do couples massage, too) followed by a wonderful dinner on the patio overlooking Bellingham Bay and Lummi Island. You can take a short walk on the bay trail to Fairhaven and visit Village Books or stop at any of the restaurants, florists, or art galleries. Go the other direction on the Bay Trail and a short walk on Taylor Dock takes you to the beautiful Boulevard Park.
Very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Scenic bayside location is convenient driving or walking. The staff was very friendly accommodating. The facility is clean and well maintained. It feels like a small boutique hotel.
Rooms: My room was spacious, well appointed with a soaking tub and shower, comfortable bed. Amazing view.
Food & drinks: The on site restaurant had delicious food and provides room service dining. The Truffle Fries are to die for.

Beautiful place with large rooms for getting ready. As a hair and makeup artist that specializes in weddings of large groups, these rooms had lots of space, electrical outlets, and stunning views. It does have a small elevator for hauling up all you need and lots of light.
