You may have read my earlier review for Highline's whole-house renovation completed in 2022. This is an update: In spring, 2024, the new shower began to leak a little into the basement, and the shower sill tile and grout started cracking. I contacted Highline, and they assured me that they would repair the damage and remedy the leaking. And that is exactly what they did, under the oversight of Jack Buckalew. It took several months, but they carefully diagnosed where the shower pan was leaking, causing the wood in the sill to expand and crack the tile. They removed all of the affected tile and wood (this was terrifying to see them do - our beautiful shower was beng deconstructed!). Then the entire pan was rebuilt and sealed, the sill replaced with construction foam, new tile installed with epoxy grout (thanks to Jordan Snell of Opulence Tile), and the shower doors replaced. Honestly, it is impossible to tell the original tile from the new tile. It looks brand new again. And it doesn't leak anymore. Considering that this house is about 100 years old, we are realistic about its quirks and problems. But we are very confident in the upgrades that Highline did, knowing that they stand behind their work.
