I've been coming here for 11 years now. I trust Dr. Fairbanks' "new" colleagues as much as I trust him--Terra Schmidt even gave me her home number one time when I had post-extraction complications. These people truly care for their patients and one another. The vibe between people in the office is warm and welcoming. I've been contemplating a move, and you just gave me one more good reason to stay here.
When I was in the 6th grade, my brother and I were horsing around a little too much. Long story short, I ended up with his elbow in my mouth, and three of my front teeth pushed back almost to the roof of my mouth. It was a Saturday. My family lived in Lynden, and no local dentists were at all available to take care of this kind of dental emergency. After frantically calling all over the county, I was told by my dad that they'd found a dentist and that we were piling into the car to go right then and there. That dentist ended up being Dr. Fairbanks. What I found was a patient, tempered guy with a wonderful assistant (hi, Jan!), and after a pretty significant amount of work Dr. Fairbanks was able to save all of the affected teeth. That was over 17 years ago, and I still have them. During the rest of my time living in Whatcom County, Dr. Fairbanks was my dentist of choice, and remained that way until I moved away from the area in 2013. I wish I could've brought he and the crew with me!
