Ben did a great job with our kitchen repair. We had a leaky dishwasher that ruined our whole kitchen. Ben and his crew did a great job with the rebuild. Our house was built in 1936 so nothing is level or square and he brought everything together as close to perfect as possible! He leveled our floor, and installed the flooring, drywall and trim, doing a great job matching the existing texture in the house. As Ben methodically, yet efficiently and swiftly became the jack of all trades renovating my basement apartment that had been flooded by a broken pipe and needed to be extensively renovated, I felt like I won the jackpot!! I knew absolutely nothing about his history except He was referred by Angie’s list and His estimate was 20,000$ below the highest estimate and very similar to the lowest. I had made my decision to chose him from the observation that he had an eye for detail when he was inspecting the space during the initial visit. If you are lucky enough to get Ben Millar of Common Cents Remodeling as your contractor, you've won the contractor lottery. Ben was excellent at communicating throughout the design and building of our new kitchen. He works and solves any problems that come up thoughtfully and with good humor. He worked with my ideas, offered advice, and used his extensive skill set to create the kitchen of my dreams. He did everything beautifully, literally from floor to ceiling, from installing the cork flooring, to choosing and sanding the live edge shelving, to installing the ceiling lights.
