A true gem of the Pacific Northwest that is a fantastic dojo for all skill levels. Whether you are interested in recreational judo just to learn the art or in high level competition, the dojo has something to offer you. The instructors are great. The attitude is friendly and family oriented, and the participants range from kids just there to learn and have fun to national level competitors.The coaches are international level competitors, who have reached the very highest levels of achievement including the Olympics, continental and national championships. Where do I begin?! I have so much great things to say about Phoenix Judo Club ! When our family started our kids on the martial arts journey we searched many places before we found this club. This is by far The Best judo club in WA. When we search for a club there are several criteria we look for. Safety, quality of instruction, environment, and culture. Phoenix Judo Club checked off all of those boxes. We are so blessed to have amazing coaches (who were Olympians) that are so dedicated to not only teach the kids judo techniques but also nurture them into confident athletes.
