Dr. Appelbaum and his staff are exemplary with great teamwork . I am always treated respectfully and professionally by everyone at this office. Dr. Appelbaum has an actual dialogue, rather being authoritarian, with his patients . I feel very confident in his care.

I've had spotty luck with Overlake Family Medicine over the years, but I keep going back because it's a PITA to change doctors. The office manager, Michele (sp?), is always polite, helpful, and treats me with decency. She's exceptional. However, the people at the front desk and who call with test results can be prickly and often seem as if they really don't want to be working here. The woman with the Eastern European is particularly rude--she thinks she's working in the NYC subway or something. Cold, blunt, brusque, mean--she should never work with people. The phlebotomist will serve up unsolicited, unsupported medical advice as she's tying you off and extracting blood. For example, she told me that something I was doing in relation to my health "doesn't work" or "might work but not for long." Thanks, Dr. Dracula. Any other hot medical tips from you, my non-doctor pal? Yes, as a matter of fact! You see, according to the phlebotomist, all anyone has to do is reduce portions and not eat after 6 PM. She claims to have lost 65 pounds this way so it should work for anyone! Please keep your special medical advice to yourself and just do your job. Let the doctors dispense the advice. Thanks.

Dr Natalie archer is amazing. Her diagnosis had been very accurate and they are always able to accommodate a appointment when in urgent need. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr archer for anyone looking for a general physician.
