Hello to all the friendly team & staff at Hazelden-Newberg, OR. Thankfully I am approaching my (6) month anniversary of sobriety and recently completed my several weeks of OP.

Came highly recommended. The substance of the curriculum is outstanding but the administration was average. Mundane reading of text to the class and meditation sessions repeatedly interrupted by commercials (talk about killing the focus) left me scratching my head. Psychologist staff is excellent and the private sessions were definitely spot on.

My experience was very positive. The counselor Ryan is very professional and a very kind and caring person. I’m just so happy for my decision in choosing this treatment facility. All the other people that I encountered in my group were just lovely and serious about their recovery. I’m going to continue with a counselor now that my IOP is over. You can also continue with once a week on Tuesdays but I’m out of town to much to make that work If your considering help for addiction I think Hazelden is a great choice that could save your life.
