Unfortunately our experience there was not only extremely disappointing but also short lived. Their communication is awful. The administration process is poorly put together and you can never get answers. We went through the whole application process which included a tour, a student teacher interview and a three day try out. The whole process was frustrating. Between poor communication on top of being straight up ignored and denied for reasons they weren’t willing to give us, we moved on. Before you spend money on an application fee, I highly suggest getting some communication in writing about their process/procedures. We came to Three Cedars Waldorf (now Eastside Community School) in 2012, the year my youngest daughter of three was born. My family has been part of Waldorf education since my oldest, now a senior in high school, was about a year old. Being part of a community like this is what you sense you have been missing your whole life. People care about your children and about you like family. For many in our community who come from all over the world creating a masterpiece of culture, this place IS family. We could not dream up a better kindergarten experience for our son if we wanted to. The teachers are so amazing, supportive and truly see our son for who he his and understand what he needs to grow and learn. We can't wait to start first grade next year.
