The perfect barbershop experience. Firstly, the cuts are great. Mike is an absolute pro but unlike some he’s also very receptive and flexible to your requests. The prices are very reasonable and he works quickly. He also happens to be one of the nicest, funniest fellas I’ve met on Bainbridge Island. And it’s hard not to be charmed by the dogs that stop by for one of the treats Mike keeps by the door.

This is an old school barber shop where you sit and read hunting and fishing magazines until it's your turn to get a decent haircut. Very small, very convenient location in the middle of Winslow Way.

I only let Mike cut my hair even though I travel extensively and am starting to spend the winters in Austin, TX. That means I'll need to fly home every two months or so to get my haircut - I fell that strongly. And with Kitsap now going to Phase 2 of re-openning in the pandemic, I'll be one his Mike's early return customers as I haven't had a haricut in 2.5 months! On a personal note - Mike is good to speak with. We both lost our wives in mid-2019 and getting my haircut from Mike is part of my grief journey...
