“FELLOW CURLY GIRLS- I FOUND YOUR SALON!!! I have been to many salons in a lot of major cities over the years, and I was so happy to have found Kelli on BI. I have naturally curly hair and have had too many bad experiences to count. Lots of us seek out "curly hair specialists" (go Lorraine Massy and her Curly Girl Method!) and pay hundreds of dollars for a cut that is... well, not good to say the least. Kelli is BY FAR the best. No really, she is the best. I had to jump on here to give her my highest recommendation to ANYONE with natural curls. She'll dry cut it. YES, she will dry cut your curls which is again, hard to find. Plus, she did my color and JACKPOT! She is an expert colorist and this is another area where she shines. She is a lovely human and true artist. Her salon is calming place, and she will take good care of you. So-if you have natural curls (or any other type of texture), give her a try; I think you will be very very very happy. Cheers!“

“Leah Stang is a wizard.For my money, there is no one who gives a better short cut. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Leah since 2021. Like other reviewers, I am a devoted fan. The level of care that she puts into each cut is far beyond anything I’ve experienced.Before I ever sat in Leah’s chair, I read a review about her at a previous shop. They’d mentioned what a great conversationalist she is. That was a draw for me. But I also go into most things with an ounce of doubt. Lots of barbers and hairdressers are able to hold a conversation, and what counts as “good” is highly subjective. Whatever doubt I’d held was shattered on cut #1. She is as insightful as she is funny.I actively look forward to my haircuts with Leah because first of all, I’m going to have a great time with her. “I’d like to respond to the review by Andy. I am sorry her experience was negative. She says she dropped me two separate emails, but she never called or texted. These emails never reached me, they may have ended up in my junk mail folder, or because my account here at google was originated from an outside tech marketing vendor, I hired back when I first opened and they may have received these emails but because I no longer pay them to service this I assume they were not forwarded to me. Either way I never knew of her issues and was unable to resolve her concerns. Haircutting is first, an art and I have spent over 40 years working with thousands of clients to hone my skills. Of course on rare occasion someone is going to be unhappy and a phone call could have remedied her situation pronto. I have always stood behind my work, and each and every guest whether on their first visit or 40th are invited to call or text if they have any concerns. I do apologize to Andy that I disappointed her, and I hope she can forgive me for a cut that clearly did not bring her joy.“

“I went to Scarlett Rockway to get some nice color in my hair in preparation for a big family wedding. My hair was half grey, and very white on top where I part my hair. I told Scarlett I was worried about brass, orange effects, bleaching, etc., and emphasized that I didn't even want anything like strawberry. Wow!!! She used different hair colors-a little lowlighting with a little highlighting throughout my upper hair and the result makes me feel so great I can't even tell you. I haven't had that "spun gold" look since high school. I am most definitely repeating the color every 8 weeks with Scarlett.
