“I love Bajda. It was my first experience with acupuncture and I loved it. I saw her for a little under a year, and since we moved away, I’ve been reluctant to try acupuncture anywhere else because I loved my experience with her so much. I felt like she actively listened to issues I was experiencing and tried several options to help.“
“Krista is amazing at identifying muscles that need attention and using massage and stretching to address them. I had a major problem with my glutes (piriformis) which doctors and PT folks could not help. She did a masterful, high pressure massage and it corrected. She also is knowledgeable about exercises to keep them aligned and stretched. I highly recommend her for a regular deep tissue massage also-- I feel so relaxed after one of hers. MAK M.“
“This place is great. Dr Ryan is amazing he not only cares about his patients, but really does what he can for his patients and staff. I have gone to him many times with back, neck and shoulder issues and leave feeling a million times better. Always is bright and treats everyone including his staff with the upmost respect. Definitely recommends 100 times over“
“Cassie has such grounding nurturing energy. In her presence I feel like the only person she is treating the entire day. Her facial massage is other worldly, and she truly cares about your wellbeing and the products she uses on you.“
“I’ve never in my life experienced anything more exhilarating and freeing than I did with Dr. Pond and the Ring Dinger! I’ve been in the Army for 14 years and I’ve just been in so much pain from my neck, shoulder blades, and lower back. Years of rucking, running around with heavy equipment and, lifting wrong has taken a toll on my body. I couldn’t sleep due to the extreme pinching in my neck. My PCM keeps telling me to see physical therapy and stretch and nothing seemed to take the pain away.
I did a little deep dive and found Dr. Pond and his technique of decompression using the Ring Dinger. I’ve seen nothing but amazing results from people who have had this done so I decided to jump on in and give it a try!
My first appointment was absolutely euphoric. I would describe it as a “life changing” experience. The extreme lower back pain was completely gone and the whole upper back/neck pain went from an 8 to a 2. It literally took my breath away because I haven’t felt pain free for over 10 years. I slept like a baby for the first time in over 5 years and woke up rejuvenated.
My second appointment was scheduled 2 weeks out and was just as amazing as the first adjustment! I knew what to expect and it decompressed the remaining dull/achy pain in my neck.
I went back for my last adjustment the following week and let me tell you…. I felt like a million bucks when I walked out of that office! I feel like I’ve lost 10 years of pain and can live my life again.
I just want to say if you’re in constant aching, excruciating, or even pinching pains.. go see Dr. Pond. Go get the Ring Dinger done! You won’t regret it. You don’t have to live a life with constant pain. It’s not normal so don’t make it the norm!
I’ll be making quarterly visits to just keep my old bones aligned! You can’t put a price on your physical and mental health. This has been absolutely life changing. I’ve been telling my military friends who struggling with extreme back pains and they are all excited to give it a go!“
“Through acupuncture, Lindsey has done so much to alleviate and even eliminate some of the pain in my body. She has done so much to improve my health over the years I have been seeing her.“
“I'm sad that today was my first visit at Spa Phoebe - I've read so many wonderful things about this business and being a nearby business owner - I absolutely should've come sooner. The setting is very relaxing, Phoebe herself is a doll! She's very welcoming, down to earth and easy going, yet professional. Her massage was the best massage I've had in 10 years. I have had LOTs of massages from the Four Seasons to some local experts- hands down, Phoebe is the BEST! I'm so grateful I found her practice. The space was cozy and super clean. The sheets were super soft and the temperature was just perfect. I hope she'll stay in WS forever. I should mention that from a technical standpoint, she also listened to my concerns and treated me very intuitively. The whole experience was wonderful and I can't wait to go back!“
“My wife and I have been going to Element 7 for several years now. They have helped ease the pain in my back and hips. I am now more active and enjoying life. My wife has fewer migraines and her light sensitivity has gotten much better. The doctors have helped us in many ways and we cant thank them enough.“
“Jim, Haily and Allen are very professional. Effective in the treatment and herbs to achieve the highest level ofquality of life.“
“Sacred Root has been amazing to me and getting my health in order. I see the naturopath, Dr. Melanie Green, who listens, encourages you to lead in how you want to be catered too, and guides you with a team approach making you feel comfortable while knowing you have someone wanting the best for you. I, also, see Joshua Green for acupuncture and he is the best around! As someone who was scared of needles, I genuinely look forward to when I can come again to acupuncture. He is extremely knowledgeable, talented, and I know I am in good, safe hands.I recommend them to everyone and encourage everyone to give them a shot.“
“Jean has been my therapist on and off for many years now. I appreciate her genuine care for her clients' wellbeing and being easygoing. I very much appreciate SABA's efforts throughout the pandemic to keep everyone healthy as much as possible by requiring masks. People who are immunocompromised and/or have family members who are deserve best care too and this is one of the most effective ways to decrease the risk of getting respiratory illnesses.“
“Michelle is the best in giving massages. She truly has healing hands and is intuitive to the needs of her client. She truly cares about the outcome of their experience.“
“I’ve been going to Ballard Seattle Chiro for over two years now, and love it! I see Dr. Miller (she’s there on Wednesdays & Fridays) and she is very attentive, listens to my problems and works to prevent them from happening again. The office is very flexible with scheduling, I often call and get an appointment same day. I was recommended by a friend, and continue recommending to my friends as well!“
“Linda is truly compassionate practitioner! You can tell by the questions she asks you that she's listened to everything you've told her! I wish I would not have waited so long to find her!“
“Nancy Ishii is fantastic. She is my acupuncturist and I feel so much less pain and more relaxed each time I have a session“
“Best acupuncturist around! Intuitive, gentle and kind. Great results for my chronic pain. Highly recommended!“
“Hanz has helped me with a soy allergy. Stem cells in my back 3years ago and I healed now. And just recently I had a really painful stomach problem that Hans gave me Chinese herbs for that made a month long condition go away in a week. So thank you, Hanz.“
“I first went to Dr. Liz for acute upper back and shoulder tension back around 2016. One of her acupuncture treatments made a world of difference. Since that time I've sought her out to address insomnia, anxiety, congestion and other nagging complaints. In every case she was able to provide relief without any side effects. I try to see her twice a year. She's the real deal.“
“"Orchard holistic is a blessing to the Port Orchard area. Dr.Wade Ayer’s has been our Family physician for many years now to my 3 children ranging in ages 9months-10 years old and myself. He has helped us with preventative illnesses and many health issues over the years from mold exposure to regular colds, Sinus problem, allergies list goes on and on. Dr.Wade Ayer’s is professional and personable when I think of a Dr. nowadays it is hard to find doctors that will actually take the time to not only treat you but find the root of what’s making you sick and treat that actual illnesses not just treat the symptoms. Our doctor visits are longer then I have experienced with other doctors I never feel rushed he weighs out other options before rushing and finding a quick fix to any health problems. In the past other doctors/nurses have draw my blood and told me I have hard veins to find it’s actually something I greatly do not look forward to from many long painful past experiences of things not going well Dr.Wade Ayer’s is the only doctor that has had no problem at all drawing my blood and has reassured me my veins are perfectly normal and makes it easy and convenient he draws blood in his office himself no out sourcing. I can not say how thankful I am to find a doctor who cares for my self and my family on the level that he does. Gives me peace of mind knowing he is our doctor."“
“Cannot recommend Jeremy the massage therapist enough. This is not the type of massage where you might fall asleep. This guy will work out every knot in your body and always asks what's bugging you or if you have anything specific to work on. Very professional.“
“Great regular service and always
pull all the stops if urgent situation comes up“
“The acupuncture treatments I've received from Dr. Willet have been transformative. She listens to my concerns and does a wonderful job of explaining the various methodologies she uses in the treatment. She and the entire team at Rebel Med NW are fantastic.“
“Kelsey, Cory, and Annelie are all so wonderful. I’ve had monthly medical massages here as well as facials and have only had good experiences with everyone. They take insurance which is so helpful and all of the front desk staff are kind and supportive.“
“I'm feeling so much better, thanks to Bob Doane and his associates. The team there is amazing. Bob is more of an herbalist, even though I have heard he will do some accupuncture, I've yet to have him do mine, he's usually on calls and with patients.
The man is a genius, he's of an older generation, not really old to me being 51, but he reminds me of my grandfather who passed 14 years ago at 84, but he reminds me of my grandfather when he was in his 70's. He's got gentle hands, and he uses them to sense your pulse in both wrists, something NO western medicine folks do.
If you have trauma, like broken bones or need anti-biotics for a flu, by all means, go see a traditional western doctor, but if you are looking to heal yourself from within, to be healthy long term, and get off all those pharmacuticals that western med pushes, you want to see Bob Doane.
I'll say this about price, you get what you pay for. Accupuncture should not be cheap. If your insurance covers you for a once a month visit, then you will want to find another place maybe. But see them first, I don't know all the ins and outs of your insurance.
It should be noticed, they practice indirect accupuncture, if you have a headache they might put a needle in the heal of your foot or for example my left knee was bothering me and so she put needles in my elbows.
My first experience with Accupuncture 30 years ago was like this, I had them from head to toe, but mainly my shins because my issue was related to my liver and digestive track. I also learned from that Chinese Medicine doctor that I needed to eat red meat and had to stop being a vegetarian. Which was difficult for a moment as I had been practicing vegetarian for almost 5 years, but he was right and I got better.
My issues today are autoimmune related and menopausal. My mother had Lupus and died very young because of it. I do not want to die young since I had my son at an older age, I need to live longer in order to see him grow up. I plan on taking herbs from AWC for the rest of my life!
When I first started seeing Bob, the list of ailments was SO LONG... Redness in my face and arms, really bad acne on my face, unable to sleep through the night, constant cravings for sweets and high carb- high sugar foods... aches and pains and migraines treated with NSAIDS... along with nightsweats, feeling hot ALL the time or unable to warm myself at times... just body temps all over the place... bloating and swelling of my waste, fingers, joints etc...
I have only been going for a few months now and I can honestly say I feel much improved, I'm able to exercise, I don't have the cravings for sweets at night, I sleep through the night, if I do get up to P, I fall right back to sleep! I have energy througout the day and although I still need to lose weight, I feel like it is finally possible! And my skin is clear and although I have some redness from broken capilaries, I am not constantly red... I mean, folks used to say I looked flush all the time, I don't need to wear cover up anymore on my face!
I do not have the bloating I used to have either and I use the bathroom regularly... I still have some issues of course but one day at a time.
OH! I almost forgot, Bob does push for an almost "Paleo" diet, meat and green veggies... if you're not trying to lose weight, then he will suggest it, but doesn't "PUSH" it... my husband increased his meat eating and changed a few things, but mostly still eats the same, as we have been a meat and potatoes family for quite some time. I do need to start being more strict with my diet, and will... Right now though I am just happy to be feeling a lot better and feeling hopeful for a healthier me.“
“I saw Maria for some acupuncture and she helped me with chronic low-energy, and a "pickleball" elbow (tendonitis). She has a powerful healing touch and I felt very at ease and comfortable in her care. She has many years of experience and is very grounded, wise, and compassionate in her approach. My "chi" energy was restored after a few short weeks of working with her and she eased the pain in my elbow significantly. Yay! Pickleball here I come!“
