We've been with River Cove now for over 39 years! Many beloved dogs through thick and thin including cancer, vestibular and other less critical issues. We were there back when Dr Ellis was the sole Doctor (and original owner) at this hospital, ...in its infancy. We've stayed with them all through their growth, while adding staff and new Doctors and new protocols and changes through new owners. We're still there! The staff is very accommodating, supportive and prompt to reply when we have issues and questions! They have text capability on their primary phone number! Nice, no missed voice messages and need to call back! We've seen new staff and new doctors there in an ever-changing animal hospital, yet, whoever is at the counter or replying via text, ...the support for pet and client has never diminished at all. It is always A+. Like many businesses now, they have policies that I am fine with in these ever changing times and do be aware that pet care now is very expensive, no matter where you go for quality care. Be prepared for that. Always good vibes at River Cove.........if they can take you on as a client, I highly suggest you bring your pet to them. they will not let you down. We moved up here from Austin Tx a year ago & was recommended to them by Nextdoor. They did not disappoint. The entire team are so caring, kind & gentle. Making an appt is easy. I immediately felt welcome when I came in with my 2 frenchies. They’re warm, funny and call your pets by name. To me that goes a long way! The technicians are patient, have a sense of humor and are very detailed in obtaining any info the Dr. may need. We’ve seen Dr. Chu for the last year. She is extremely knowledgeable, listens to you!! Gives the best advice, prescribes medication when needed, but never tries to sell you anything you don’t need.

I have had nothing but amazing, compassionate, and thorough care for all three of my dogs here. I would highly recommend bringing your pets here for their care. I can't thank their team enough.
