I can’t say enough good things about this company. From on-site design advice to expert installation and careful paint match, they were all great. Replaced 2 exterior doors and 6 double hung windows in a nice old farmhouse. They are expensive but well worth it given the experience and skill of carpenters adapting new material to an 1820 house. From the very beginning, Samantha provided thoughtful guidance, clearly explaining the many window options along with the pros and cons of each. She visited my home, took the time to understand the style of the house, and carefully measured each window. She even provided detailed drawings to help me visualize the recommendations — a step that gave me great confidence in the process. Once I had selected the windows and trim (both interior and exterior), Samantha and Bill returned to double-check every measurement before placing the order with Marvin Windows. Their attention to detail was impressive and truly appreciated. When it came time for installation, Bill, Ralph, and David showed up ready to go — on time and fully prepared. Bill walked through the plan with Ralph and David, and they got right to work. After just the first day, I could already see the transformation beginning to unfold. They were professional, efficient, and respectful of my home. At the end of each day, they cleaned up thoroughly and prepped for the next, which made the entire project feel smooth and manageable. It’s now been a couple of months since the installation, and I still find myself walking through the house, admiring the beauty and craftsmanship of my new windows. This wasn’t an inexpensive project, but it was worth every penny. The quality of the product and the care taken by everyone involved far exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend this team to anyone considering new windows — you’ll be in excellent hands.
We are thrilled with the work that the WDB team completed. From our planning meetings with Sam, to scheduling the project with Bill, and to the on-site installers, the entire team could not have been more professional or kind. They crushed it, down to the awesome clean up work when all was done. The execution from top to bottom was flawless. Not only that, but the team really worked hard to fit in our small project between bigger ones so that we could have our beautiful new windows installed before our daughter’s wedding this summer! We cannot recommend Windows and Doors by Brownell highly enough!
