My wife and I started our timber frame process with VT Frames a few years ago. Working with VT Frames design team throughout the many small revisions to get our future home just right. The time to build finally came. Crew should up early on a Monday and took a half a day to unload and transport material to site due to a challenging driveway. The crew never missed a beat, and we were amazed on how well everyone on this crew knew their role and what to do to keep the project progressing. Our knowledge of the building processes was very limited when we decided to build a house. Our hearts were set on a timber frame for its esthetic, durability and efficiency. The first time we spoke with Vermont Frames we knew we were in safe hands.
They were accommodating with our tight timeline and recommended our local GC, who had 40+ years of experience with this specific type of build. Their design team suggested changes to our floor plan which gave us more space without impacting our budget.
