We had what I'd consider a very strange experience with MacIntyre. We bought our house—our first home!—in the summer of 2020. MacIntyre had recently filled the oil tank, and we were about to install heat pumps, so we asked the company to take us off the automatic refill schedule and to only deliver oil when we call. They confirmed, we used about half a tank that winter, and we forgot about it.This fall, MacIntyre filled up our tank, even though we hadn't called. We are going to remove our old furnace and install a wood stove next year, so it's important that we be able to carefully manage the amount of oil in our tank.
